Magura brake pump HC3 radial

The brake pump can be ordered with three different piston diameters, we recommend for superbikes with two brake discs in front the 18mm. The smaller the piston diameter the more force is needed to achieve the same braking force, but thanks to longer travel the braking force can be dosed better. Each brake pump can be adjusted by screw in three different configurations depending on personal needs or weather.

MILLED ALUMINUM BODY
This fitting is made of high quality aluminum, resulting in very high rigidity coupled with low weight. 90°

RADIAL DESIGN
The push rod and cylinder are at a 90° angle to the handlebar. This results in lower transmission losses and a more direct brake feel for better control.

ABS COMPATIBILITY
MAGURA HCT is suitable for use with all ABS systems currently on the market. (as of 01.2016)

3-FOLD ADJUSTABLE LEVER BEARING POINT
With the adjustable lever bearing, HC3 offers the option to make the hand lever feel harder or softer by simply changing the position of the lever bearing screw, which would be equivalent to changing the piston diameter approximately 1 mm larger or smaller. All three settings provide 90° of full-radial actuation.

CLIP LOCK
Reduces the risk of damage in the event of a drop or fall. Function remains intact.

ADVANCED SEAL TECHNOLOGY
This innovative technology reduces or prevents air from entering the hydraulic system. Under extreme conditions, such as those encountered in racing, this can be the case.

EXPANSION TANK KIT
The fitting is supplied with an external expansion tank and associated bracket. Due to the compact dimensions, installation should be possible in almost all cases. The smoked glass used allows easy checking of the fluid level at any time.

TITANIUM MOUNTING SCREWS
Wherever possible and practical, MAGURA has used titanium as a material. Titanium is lightweight and corrosion resistant.

BRAKE STATEMENT
Piston diameter 18 mm = 17 - 19 mm (recommended for all 1000cc bikes and 600cc)
Piston diameter 15 mm = 14 - 16 mm (recommended for 300cc bikes)
Piston diameter 12 mm = 11 - 13 mm without switch, with short lever, recommended for 125cc bikes

SCOPE OF DELIVERY
Each HC3 is delivered ready for installation with the following package contents:
3-fold adjustable lever bearing (corresponds to ± 1 mm hydraulic change)
Banjo bolt with sealing rings (M10 x 1)
Decoupled expansion tank
Standard clamp (without mirror mount)
Brake light or starting safety switch

* HC3 in the racing version with 12 mm is delivered with a short folding lever and without brake light switch.
