Kawasaki
The motorcycle division has made Kawasaki a global brand name. As early as 1952, the first motorcycle engine rolled off the production line, the KE-1 engine, an air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke unit. In Switzerland, Kawasaki caused a sensation with its fast three-cylinder two-stroke models at the end of the 1960s at the latest. The final breakthrough came in 1972 with the launch of the legendary Kawasaki 900 Z1. The most potent motorcycle in the world at the time created Kawasaki's image as a manufacturer of large-displacement, high-performance four-cylinder motorcycles with that certain something. Whether it was the GPZ 900R in 1983, the ZZ-R 1100 in 1990 or the Ninja ZX-12R in 2000 - Kawasaki flagships have stood for speed and technological innovation ever since. The Z1000 closes the circle. The breathtaking supernaked is a rebirth of the Z1 in the style and with the means of modernity: pure fascination on two wheels.
