Footrest system

This footrest system has two different versions. The rigid footrests are for track use only, whereas the folding footrests come with paperwork for registration at the motor vehicle inspection. The footrest system must be shown at the MFK for legal road use and entered in the vehicle registration document. For this you have to make an appointment at the MFK for the registration of the footrest system, drive to the MFK with the footrests already mounted and the documents issued by us.

The footrests can be used for normal or reverse shifting. What does reverse shifting mean: the shift lever is pushed up for the first gear and then down for each subsequent gear. This is actually the reverse of the normal shifting. This method is preferred especially on the race track and in professional racing, because the shifting in curves is easier.

Bonamici is supplier of the WorldSBK, WorldSSP, BSB and CIV (BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, Honda Racing Corporation, GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team, Motoxracing, Paul Bird Motorsport, Synetiq BMW Motorrad, Althea Racing) and other racing teams. In addition, the footrests are mounted and ridden 1-to-1 in WSBK by the racers.
